It all started like any other great company. In the garage of two young teenagers living in the mid-west dreaming of ways to create new age experiences with art and technology. James Thomas and Justin James Sehorn began providing DJ services by combining a Desktop PC, CRT Monitor (Flat screens weren’t around yet) and a Home Stereo receiver with custom speaker cabinets. They were only 17 and began throwing big parties before they left high school. Digital DJs in 1999.
James and Justin both attended McNally Smith College for Music and were engineering partners in Live Sound and Studio Recording classes and performances. After college James moved back to Kansas City and has worked on many projects in AV here in town. Justin stayed in the Twin Cities for 10 years working in sound operation jobs and radio. Justin having returned to Kansas City it was common sense that we work together again. Our story is our history and our history shows we have done a lot in 20 years.
We love commercial work. Our strengths multiply as projects grow. Having the ability to work with many types of technologies opens the door to many unique audio and video elements most traditional AV companies tend to lack. Our ideal customer is one who appreciates quality equipment and best practice setups.
